This week's Honoring Veterans Spotlight honors the service of Army Veteran and legendary MLB player and broadcaster Bob Uecker.

Uecker, 90, died on Thursday. Powell, who now lives in Georgia, said he learned a lot from his former co-worker.
MILWAUKEE — Bob Uecker was a famously mediocre Major League hitter who discovered that he was much more comfortable at a microphone than home plate.
Uecker was the voice of his hometown team who after a short playing career earned the moniker "Mr. Baseball" and honors from the Hall of Fame.
